Below are a list of rules that we wish to follow. However, you must know that we are also flexible on these rules. There are even times when we will be able to bend them, depending on when you schedule your shoot. So, please discuss this with your rep during the scheduling process. In essence, our main goal is to make you satisfied by giving you quality images. At the end of this section, you will find a feedback form. Please use it if you can suggest anything that should be changed in our “Terms and Conditions”.
Your Groupon:
-A one-look pinup or boudoir photo shoot
Highlights:
Makeup (one person per voucher)
Digital retouching of one image
Two 4″x6″ prints
A complimentary CD with five high-resolution images
Photo session good for up to two people
- By appointment only, subject to availability.
- Valid up to one look and up to 2 people for friends and couples.
- Hair and wardrobe not included.
- Upon receipt of your CD, you will have the option of choosing the 1 image you would like retouched.
- When scheduling your session, we will work with you to give dates that are flexible. You have up to one year to redeem your groupon.
Scheduling Your Session:

- Once the date is approved, you must email and confirm 2 days prior to your shoot.
Cancellations:
You may cancel within 48hrs to avoid additional charges (see below). We may reschedule your shoot by notifying you within 48hrs for any unforeseen reason. Therefore, your shoot date isn’t guaranteed until within 48hrs of your shoot. So, please email us at least two days before your shoot to confirm. If for any reason, you do not hear back from us via email, please assume that your scheduled date and time have been confirmed.
On Shoot Day:
- Your session will be approximately 30-40 minutes including makeup & shoot - 5 exposures will be shot to go on disk or zip drive at the end of your shoot
-Makeup session for one, shoot for up to 2 people.
- 1 retouch, 2 prints
- Please be prepared for a parking fee upon arrival to our studio
- Your choice of concept.
-Your 1 retouch may be available immediately after your shoot or emailed to you
-Prints will either be given directly after the shoot or available for pick-up at a later time.
Retouches:
- basic retouches include: lighting, color correction, cropping, shadows, tints, highlights, black and whites, minor blemishes, etc.
- does not include major acne, air brushing, body alterations, background changes, etc. (see below about such additions)
Add Ons:
- Hair - $85
-Add More People -$25 per person
- Makeup for additional person - $85
- 10 additional images -$35
-20 additional images -$55
-50 additional images -$75
-Pet -$25 per pet
-Wardrobe Stylist -$75-$150
- Additional Hours - $125 per hour.
- Advanced Retouching - $75 per hour
- Concept creation and consulting - $75 per concept. Free with additional hours. price does not include props or wardrobe. If you do not have a concept for your shoot, we can take the time to come up with a good concept for you. Otherwise, we will have to come up with the concept during the time of the shoot. So, please be prepared with your concept in mind if you do not want us to give you a concept.
- Assistant - $50 per hour (can be used for holding reflectors, light diffusers, stopping traffic, etc.)
On location Overtime (in the event that the shoot goes over the time) - $140 per hour. Charged in 15 minute increments (ie. 1- 15 minutes overtime = $35).
- Backup Photographer -$75. Is recommended for sensitive dates. Can also be useful in the event that anything goes wrong with equipment.

The Fine Print:
- Re-scheduling is permitted within the expiration date only
- Your shoot starts @ scheduled time, not when you get there.
- Cancellation Policy: Must cancel at least 48hrs before shoot. $50 Rebooking fee. 2nd cancellation requires $100 rebooking fee and possible loss of Groupon. If you are 15 minutes late the photographer can leave and your shoot will be cancelled.

How many photographers do you have?
4, but only expect 1 at your shoot.
Can I shoot with my pet?
Yes. As long as the photographer isn’t at risk for danger.
I called, but I couldn’t get through. What should I do? We usually stop answering calls sometime around 5pm and we do not have a person dedicated to answering phones. So, if we are shooting, we won’t be able to answer. Please leave a message or email us at photography@aqiyl.com. We also have a scheduling system on our website that you will see by clicking on a link at the top that says “groupon clients” in green.
What if I want to schedule two shoots but I only have one groupon?
A second shoot can be scheduled at a discounted rate.
